The mission of Redemption House, Inc. is to fill a critical gap in providing short-term transitional care to relapsed individuals living with Substance Use Disorder.

Carson’s Workshop

Carson's Workshop is a new Redemption House initiative giving our residents the opportunity to learn hands-on contracting skills — building real pathways to employment while fostering personal responsibility and ownership. Our 20' x 20' space is being fully rehabbed from the ground up, and every step of the process is being done by the people who will benefit most from it.

As you can see in the photos below, we're starting from scratch — and that's exactly the point.

Why Redemption House?

Often, residents cannot be placed directly into sober living situations and they end up living on the street or in shelters, creating enormous pressure on their fragile sobriety. Occasionally, someone placed into a sober house relapses and they must leave the sober house immediately - Redemption House is the place where they can go until they recommit to their sobriety.

Redemption House is a peer-run respite that provides short-term housing for up to 16 people as they work to regain stability in recovery.

Since opening in 2020, Redemption House has helped save the lives of more than 500 people. We are staffed by sober volunteers, many from our New Beginning sober houses, along with a live-in house manager.

Our goal is to support the community, hospitals, treatment providers, recovery homes, and most importantly anyone struggling with substance use who needs a safe place to stay until the right services are available.

We are growing every day, with the goal of helping and housing as many people as possible.

Help Us In Our Mission

There are many ways to support our mission. Our goal is to expand Redemption House so we can welcome everyone who needs help. Financial donations are deeply appreciated, tax-deductible, and make an immediate impact. We also welcome in-kind donations of essentials like socks, toiletries, and household items.

“We’re giving people who are too often overlooked a real second chance, with the support and space to rebuild their lives for themselves.”

— Rick DelValle, Founder
