Stronger Together: New Beginning Recovery & Wings of Hope Join Forces with Surrender House

New Beginning Recovery & Wings of Hope Join Forces with Surrender House

Two organizations. One shared mission. A new start and new beginning.

At New Beginning Recovery, we’ve always believed that recovery is about more than finding a place to live. It’s about finding a community that believes in you, a supportive environment that encourages growth, and the opportunity to rebuild a life you’re proud of.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that Surrender House, a men’s sober living home in Hamden, Connecticut, is now open as a joint collaboration between New Beginning Recovery and Wings of Hope Recovery.

A Partnership Built on Hope and Purpose

When two organizations share the same passion for helping people succeed in recovery, incredible things can happen.

Rick DelValle, founder of New Beginning Recovery, and Robert Pace of Wings of Hope Recovery have joined forces to support a welcoming, structured environment where men can focus on their recovery, build meaningful connections, and work toward a brighter future.

This partnership marks a new start and a new beginning for both organizations as they come together to support the continued growth and success of Surrender House. It represents the 6th home for New Beginning Recovery and the 9th for Wings of Hope Recovery.

But for us, it’s about more than the number of houses. It’s about the lives we get to impact.

More Than a House — A Place to Grow

Surrender House was designed with one goal in mind: setting residents up for success.

The home offers:

● Four or more bathrooms
● A spacious commercial kitchen
● Multiple common areas and a community room
● Gym equipment to encourage healthy habits
● Dedicated office space
● A podcast studio
● A shared hallway connecting all bedrooms to encourage community and connection

Every detail supports an environment where residents can build healthy routines, develop accountability, and encourage one another.

Because at New Beginning Recovery, we know that the right environment can make all the difference.

Building a Brotherhood in Recovery

Surrender House is already home to a group of motivated men who are committed to supporting one another.

Under the leadership of on-site House Manager Ryan, residents are building a community centered on structure, accountability, respect, and personal growth.

Recovery isn’t always easy, but having people around you who understand the journey can make it feel a little less overwhelming.

That’s what this collaboration is designed to provide: a place where men can grow together and no one has to walk the journey alone.

Growing Together, Changing Lives

For Rick DelValle and the New Beginning Recovery team, this collaboration represents another step toward a mission that has remained the same from the very beginning: helping men find freedom from addiction and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.

We’re grateful to Robert Pace and the entire Wings of Hope Recovery team for joining forces with us and helping make Surrender House possible.

Together, we’re creating more than sober living homes. We’re building communities, creating opportunities, and helping men discover what they’re capable of.
